Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 22, 2025

d/b/a KinLife, a division of iLogix, LLC (“KinLife”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms govern your access to and use of kinlife.bio (the “Site”) and our cleaning services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Site, submitting a quote request, scheduling, or receiving any cleaning Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all incorporated policies, including our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility; Residential Use

You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to enter into these Terms. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Services are for residential use in Honolulu, Hawaii and surrounding areas.

3. Quotes, Estimates & Pricing

  • Online or SMS/email quotes are good-faith estimates based on information and photos you provide. Final pricing may adjust after an in-home assessment (e.g., size, condition, accessibility).
  • Flat-rate or hourly pricing, minimums, and add-on fees (e.g., oven/refrigerator/windows) are disclosed at booking or confirmation.
  • Any parking, building access, or permit fees incurred to perform the work may be added to your invoice.

4. Scheduling, Rescheduling & Cancellations

  • Reschedule/Cancellation Window: Please notify us by 3:00 PM Hawaii-Aleutian Time on the business day before your appointment to avoid a late change fee.
  • Late Change Fee: Changes or cancellations after the window, or no-show/lock-out at arrival, may incur a fee up to the lesser of (i) the booked service minimum or (ii) 50% of the quoted price, to cover crew and scheduling costs.
  • We may reschedule due to weather, safety, illness, or events beyond our control.

5. Access, Preparation & Safety

  • You are responsible for safe access, parking, working utilities (power/water), and informing us of gate codes, alarms, or special instructions.
  • Please tidy personal items and secure valuables, cash, firearms, and confidential documents before service.
  • For everyone’s safety, we do not handle biohazards, animal waste, pest infestations, mold remediation, or structural issues. We reserve the right to refuse unsafe work.

6. Scope of Work & Limitations

  • Standard service includes open-surface dusting and cleaning of accessible areas only. We do not move heavy furniture/appliances, climb unsafe heights, or clean interiors of cabinets/closets unless booked as an add-on.
  • “Non-Toxic by Design” describes our operating approach; it is not a guarantee of zero risk or universal suitability. Always ventilate as needed and follow any product directions provided by us.
  • Results may vary based on surface condition, prior damage, or materials. Some stains, scratches, or mineral deposits may be permanent.

7. Payments, Taxes & Gratuities

  • We accept the payment methods disclosed at booking or invoice. Unless otherwise stated, payment is due upon completion. Past-due balances may incur late fees or collection costs.
  • Applicable taxes and surcharges will be added. Gratuities are optional and appreciated but not required.

8. Photos & Communications Consent

  • To support quoting, quality assurance, and training, you authorize us to request/receive photos you submit and to capture limited before/after photos of work areas (excluding personally sensitive items). Photos are not published without your separate consent.
  • By providing your phone/email, you consent to receiving texts (SMS), calls, and emails related to scheduling, quotes, and service updates. Message/data rates may apply. You can opt out as described in each message.

9. Health, Fragrance & Allergy Considerations

  • Tell us about fragrance sensitivities, allergies, or special instructions before service. We operate fragrance-free and dye-free by design, and we ventilate as appropriate; however, individual sensitivities vary.
  • Our disinfectant is intended for hard, non-porous surfaces only and is used per label directions. It is not a skin, air, or animal product.

10. Damages, Breakage & Claims

  • Report any service-related damage within 48 hours of service completion, with photos where possible. We will investigate promptly.
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, unstable items, or defects (e.g., loose fixtures, flaking paint, improperly sealed stone, or deteriorated grout/caulk).
  • Where responsibility is established, remedies are limited to reasonable repair, replacement with a like item, or reimbursement at our discretion, subject to Section 16.

11. Satisfaction Policy

If something was missed relative to the booked scope, contact us within 24 hours and we’ll arrange a reasonable re-clean of the specific area(s) at no additional cost. This policy does not apply to add-ons not purchased, items outside scope, or conditions that make results impractical (e.g., permanent stains).

12. Third-Party Links & Tools

The Site may link to third-party websites or tools. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability. Your use of third-party sites/tools is at your own risk.

13. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content (including text, graphics, logos, and design) are owned by or licensed to KinLife and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute content without our prior written permission.

14. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

15. Disclaimers

  • The Services and Site are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific outcomes.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will KinLife or its owners, employees, or contractors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising out of or related to the Services or these Terms. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service giving rise to the claim in the 3 months preceding the event.

17. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KinLife from and against claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your misuse of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of a third party.

18. Governing Law; Venue; Arbitration

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
  • Except where prohibited, any dispute will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration in Honolulu County, Hawaii, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive class actions and jury trials. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
  • Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual-property or confidential-information rights.

19. Changes to the Services or Terms

We may modify the Services or these Terms at any time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
